warning light???

Sometimes when i accelerate fast in first gear or break traction my handbrake light flickers on.Any ideas why this is?

handbrake probably needs tightening or adjusting

Could be a number of things - check your brake fluid resevoir level (make sure the soft seal under the cap hasnt been sucked down), check your pads to see how much meat is left on them, and lastly check the handbrake warning light sensor located under the handbrake itself
