All 3? Doubt it... try checking error codes first.

The sound must be terrible when that's happening! Doing some simple maths........does that mean it comes down to 100hp? :P

does it stall?
its quite possible the car is running very very rich and sounds like absolute crap.

i'd take it to a mechanic pretty quickly, its most likely something really simple, but could end up as a serious problem if left untreated

I had one mivec valve jam open causing one bank of cylinders to run on mivec at idle, sounded real bad. Maybee something like that that stops when the oil gets hotter/thinner??

The worst problem I've had is when one of my spark plugs stopped working and had only 5 pistons firing. Sounded terrible!

We need to know where you're located so we can point you in the right direction.........meaning you won't lose an arm or a leg paying for it.

It could be your injectors, a while ago I got my injectors cleaned and checked because when you first start it cold it ran a bit rough, so I got them cleaned and flow tested, idles and starts better now.

They've worked on a lot of our cars - GR's and GPX's

Having worked closely with them on developing various mods for the FTO's over the years, they have had my car, Kaveman's and smorisons cars on numerous occasions to do R & D, and given that they are old hands at pulling our engine's to pieces - they should be able to solve most things

They are not cheap - but they are good.

Good luck

ps - edit. I was just looking at the staff profiles in the Unique site and in Andrew's picture - there is a familiar FTO up on the hoist - yes - that would be smorison's!!! Currently up for sale in the Cars for Sale section. A real bargain if you are lucky enough to buy it!
