Stuffed Up

I was messing with my dash and removed the temp fuel and tacho needles. Now none of them function...oh the shame. Can anyone shed some light on what I need to do to get them working again. I feel like such a fool.

ummm fill your car to the brim... then set the fuel gauge
get a multi meter turn on your car check voltage then set the gauge
Taco. turn on car wait for it to warm up then set it to where it normally sits... 600-700rpm from memory
