Oil Catch Tank catches the oil and moisture in the blow-by gas that causes carbon and sludge build-up in the intake system and the engine. It keeps the engine clean even under hard driving conditions. It is also an excellent engine dress up item, gives it the race car look with the polished aluminum tank

Anyone intrested in these?? I wanna get 2 so maybe a GB could be on the cards...I just have a breather filter atm but the oil gets in the engine bay and smells sometimes which can suck,

They would be universal.

And I have one on my car and it hasn't collected any oil at all since over a year.
You can use a coke bottle, and it'll work just the same

I have a breather filter atm...if u reckon nothing comes out just look at it when its on a dyno and see the stuff come out under high revs/load...its natural engine process and its no good it going back through the intake. I have seen some cans and they are not baffled and it appears the air just goes straight through and it doesn't do anything...although I'm not expert.

Waste of money unless you have high crank case pressure

I would have thought through normal driving the crank will at times get a high enough pressure and need release...hence the whole PCV system in the first place.

why put that back though the engine? how can that be good? Anyway thats my understanding.

Its also a metred flow (ie measured by the ECU) and it goes back into the intake for environmental reasons

heheh I do realise that...hence the catch-can setup (in theory anyway) to get the flow without much of the unwanted bits

i have a Greddy one and it does look cool in the engine bay

FTO-101 how did you get that part at the back to be so shiny! Mine is so sickly, I want it to look nice and new like that

i just used some autosol you can get it from supercheap auto or anywhere like that

its a metal polish just incase anyone didnt know
