Hey guys...

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some guide of removing the brake caliper out of the car wheel??

I wanna take out the brake caliper and spray a new paint on it. So... anyone can help?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks!

u don't need to remove the brake caliper...

just take off your wheels, then mask up the parts u dont want paint to get on, and spray...

heres a post to what i did a few months earlier...

Yeah, thanks for the reply.

I had removed the wheels in the morning and when i was about to spray the brake calipers, i have a read on the instruction on the high temp paint. It says "do not apply at temperature lower than 21C"... And it says "drying up under a temp of 100C will make the paint look nicer" so I was thinking if i can take out the brake caliper and put it into a oven and have it heated for 100C for an hour...

especially during the winter days like now...

all u gotta do is keep puttin a coat of paint on it till the colour turns out strong enough for your liking. it'll be easier if u have 2 jacks so u can do 2 at a time :?
i helped my friend do it on his celica last week, it's easy but time consuming cos u gotta wait for the paint to try and give it a few coats
