I have an issue

When my radiator fan comes on the car looses power causing it to jolt, at least I think it’s the radiator fan due to it been the only thing that seems to come on when it happens.
Anyone got any idea what is going on?

This is only a guess but when the A/C compessor engages the fans will turn on but when the A/C compressor engages it may give the engine a jolt.

Or you thermo fans are drawing too much current which may cause it aswell, but I maybe way off.

Stepper motor. Fans are pulling current from the stepper & its failing. Have the exact same problem with mine as we speak.

Is there some way to solve the problem?

Get new thermo fan motors or, I have seen this on some cars but they have capasitors/stablizers connected which stablized voltage drop, you might be able to get aftermarket, not sure but it is easier to get new thermo fan motors.

A jolt is perfectly normal. It would be more pronouced when your AC is on. Think about it. When your AC is on it basically switches on and off, thats the the fan turns on.

What happens when the whole AC system turns on when idle??? Increased engine load which means more revs to produce the same amount of power during idle. Simple really.
