Hehehehehe
There are some dreamers about............
$13k would probably get you a clapped out Tiptronic GPX, with fake leather interior, a multitude of neons, chopped springs, home made intake, Autobahn/Supercheap muffler, fake carbon GT wing and Jaycar sub woofer if your lucky.
Cheers

Willing to fork out 15K, but much preferred a stock GPX manual with sunroof. Anyone?

Don't buy an FTO purely for the fact that it has a sunroof.
and it's not as easy as stating your price and asking people who wants to sell their FTO. look around in the paper, or on carsales.com.au
you should be making your decision based on which FTO is right for you, rather than something that has a sunroof

$15k is much closer to the mark than $13k.
Be sure to shop around and don't buy the first manual FTO you see with a sunroof if you think it is a bit rough. You can't polish poo!
I always believed sunroofs were a waste of effort that always leaked and were a major source of rust issues. Now I have one, I wouldn't have a car without one.
Another option is to try the importers such as
http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au who will give you access to Japanese auctions where you can pick up a car to your specifications if you don't mind waiting a while.

Give hime a break, he obviously knows what he wants but has a budget. I have seen FTO's on sale for under 10K, so 13K -15K is quite a realistic price, especially for a stock FTO. If you can wait a little while Barry, mine will probably be available. I want a manual in Icelle blue with air bags (probably going to have to import). If you can hold out for a few months, I could perhaps be convinced to part with mine. I would be taking the interior bits I have coated, my airbox and maybe my wheels (for my new one), but will replace with stock parts before selling. Mine is a Midnight Blue tip with 102000km + sunroof.

Just pick up a 97 or newer with the Dual Airbags + Facelift.
My thoughts too

My thoughts exactly - the blue is the major problem (although I notice you have yourself one drool!)
There is one for sale in Syd at the moment, but it is a tip not a manual.......

I don't think Colour is the important thing. The Icecelle Blue is quite rare, but at the end of the day, I don't think you should let the colour phase you all that much. Just find a 97 facelift.
Nah
