The fuse for my CD player/interior lights/reverse beeper/clock keeps blowing. I have replaced it numerous times. Sometimes it lasts a week, sometimes it blows as soon as it is replaced, even when there is no key in the ignition.

I have so far taken it to one auto electrician. He spent about 4 hours trying to find the source of the problem, with no luck

are you running an aftermarket stereo system? if so, how's your system set up?

I installed the stereo a few months ago, it is running off the standard loom.

I think your stereo wiring is causing the problem. The reason I think this is because:

1. your stereo have a live +ve wire in it and if any part of this wire makes contact with a groud (i.e anything metal behind the stereo) your fuse will blow.

2. you say the fuse last for a week sometimes and other times it blows straight after you put it in, the reason for this might be because your stereo loom does tend to move around while driving so sometimes the wire(assuming it's a wire causing the problem) might be in contact with a ground, other times it might not.

I'd say check behind the stereo and make sure all your wires are well insulated from each other, also check that there are no loose wires hanging out. Just use a cable tie and wrap all the wires together. This should stop a lot of movement.
