newbie looking to buy, question regarding airbags

Hi everyone, I just wrote off my 99 subaru impreza rx yesterday, and am waiting for the insurance to come through, i am very interested in the fto, i love the look of them, the impreza had duel airbags, which played a big part in the fact that i came out of a serious car accident without a scratch, basically want i want to know is which years and models of the fto came out with a drivers airbag???

Don't quote me on this, but I think pre mid 96 driver side airbag was an option, after that it was standard.

Passenger side I think is optional after mid 96.
