My driver side windows suddently doesn't work when i was driving!!! The switch has sound when i press up or down so i'll assume it's not the fuse or lose wires and the passenger window works.
Is there anyway i could wind the window up manually? Does anyone know what is wrong? Could it be the motor since there's still response if i press the button?

this might sound stupid... but can you push it up a bit (at least for the time being) ... you used to be able to that with old cars... dont force it though...

i had this happen to mine a while back
take the door trim off, then disconnect the wires, clean them with a nylon anti rust brush or eqiv and replace

I've tried taking out the door and had a look yesterday, the wires seems ok & can't see any lose wiring or anything wrong. Funny how the switch makes a ticking noise everytime i press up or down so i'll assume maybe it's the switch? Any suggestion anyone?
