yeh my bonnet is costing up to 900$ alrdy.. cf is 1095$
but the thing is.. i called up the rta and they sed some crap bout gettin an engineer's certificate and all this n dat jus so i can have it on my car widout gettin defected for it..
as it stands.. i dont have the time/energy/money to burn on all dat crap.. so i had to make do with a normal bonnet..
does anyone have a cf bonnet on their car? got pulled over for irt? or got defected??
right now.. im jus goin by what the rta told me bout them.. *sigh*

having just looked into a vented CF bonnet for my skyline there are some issues with cf bonnets if u get caught...in the end I decide to go std as I cbf with any issues....damn upset though a cf/vented bonnet would look sick.

CF bonnets for the FTO are not ADR compliant, and hence unroadworthy.
An engineering cert would not change this, and even with an engineering cert you can get defected.
