Hey guys, my baby is running very rich. it always has been since i got her, but now my friends even comment about the blue smoke and smell of petrol when i rev her hard...
how can i adjust this???
is it bad she runs like this. i have always thought it had bad fuel consumption (city driving - 400ks per tank, coutry driving 500-600ks per tank)
also will an apexi (or similar ) controller help tune my car (with extractors, 2.5" full exhust, CAI, etc)?

Dude blue smoke is usually oil, not fuel (brown)
Try resetting the ECU but long term solution is to install a piggyback ECU and tune it.

If your getting black smoke then check the following, O2 sensor MAF/MAP and water temp sensor as those 3 things control the amount of fuel that goes into your engine, also the throttle postition sensor as well.
No point in spending money on a piggy back if there is a problem with the original set up.

This is why you need a Mitsubishi diagnostics to check them all out as to being within parameters.

Our old friend Mut-II
It is harder to find then gold!!!
Even a Mitsu service has the device, they still need a software driver for FTO,
Which is harder to find then Platinum!!!!

Engine temp sensor - get a new one for around tenner (again dont know how much in dollars) - mitsubishi
EDIT - Universal O2 sensor for $54
