Dash Board lights

Hello
i got in my FTO light night and switched my lights on
But the dash board did not light up
The clock is lit up as is the heater control and all the signals, but
1) the speedo
2) rev counter
3) temp gauge
4) Fuel gauge
5) battery gauge
have no illumination
Does anyone know what this could be - i am hoping the fuse due to the 5 gauges not lit up but the clock is giving me doubts as it is lit up
If it is the bulbs/leds that have gone how easy are they to replace
If it is the fuse, which fuse is it that may have gone because my fuse box is in japanese
Thanks in Advance

Sounds like fuse to me, if i remember correctly it should be a red 10?
Easiest way to check cause i don't remember which one it is, just use the clip next to that fuse box to pull out the fuse and check every single one.

look for the dimmer switch near the steering and have a play with it .the dimmer dims those exact lights exept the clock. beats me y thats needed though. i tought it was a fuse too

I took mine out because it fried itself. Anyone know where to get a new one from? I've tried supercheap, repco, autobarn, etc. Would Mitsubishi have one?

They may do... wouldnt be specifically for the FTO thou, prolly cost you a bit too. Im surprised all those auto shops dont have them. You could try places like Blackwoods I spose. Its a generic adjustable voltage switch (or something like that)

its nothing special its just a variable resistor. I took mine out and had a look and u will need to match the resistance rage if u need to replace it...can't rememebr what it is though...

the original dash board light is so dim it's not funny, change my dash board long long time ago so thought if it doesn't light up, might be the fuse instead lol ... oh well at lease you find out what it is
