Great!
I wanted to get into neon’s and see my car lighting up like a Christmas tree...
Damn! I shouldn’t go to the Autosalon, keep getting bad influence!!!

The part confuses me though,
Item is in ebay sold for US$107.50 = AUS$135
It is brand new and has the remote controller,

Did you import this from US or purchased in Aus?

So I'm getting heaps of mixed answers from heaps of different people. Are these legal when they're switched on during driving?

Nope,
as long as you cant see the actual bulb or tube, its OK I think,

100% correct.

If you can not see the bulb of the light, it is not illegal.

That's why i took them off in the 1st place, i got pulled over and i got a yellow sticker for the neons because i dont have sideskirts and LEDs were easy to see.

Ok so I looked into this a while back so here you go.
The Australian Road Rules states that a driver must not use or allow to be used, any light fitted to or in the drivers vehicle to dazzle, or in any way that is likely to dazzle, another road user.
These lights are not permitted.

They are very easy to install, especially if you have sideskirts. they just clip into place.

I think when it means dazzle, it's the strobes that are illegal.
