Not enough...

Ok, so I'm at the red lights, ready for it to go green.
Bam! i'm off. rpm rises 5...6...7 shift
5...6........
and the car begins to shudder. it seems that the car is not burning fuel quick enough or something like that. its not like the steer wheel is hard to control or anything but more like the acceleration switches on and off.
What do you guys think is the problem? what kind of fixes are there?

Is it a Mivec, and was the car warm? The computer will not let the car rev into Mivec if the engine is too cold, sorta safety factor to stop you blowing a foo foo valve (technical term!)

definately sounds like u didn't let the engine warm up, I'm not an expert on engines but one thing I DO know for a fact is NOT to rip the sh*t out of your car unless you have driven for
at least 10 minutes.
Correct me if i'm wrong here

Yes certainly sounds like it's not warm however there have been instances of members experiencing this problem due to other reasons.

i'd say spark plugs aswell..
used to get something like that in another car ive drivin that could only be described as a shudder + loss of power

it has happened before. but in the case of this morning, I let the engine run from a cold start for around 10-15minutes before I took off.
Other times, It had been a at least a good 10minutes of driivng before I actually tried it.
I actually thought it would have been spark plugs or air intake. Maybe something's inside the intake?? perhaps blocking some airflow @ high rpm?
But i'm replacing the plugs first to see what happens; which is partially why i signed in for group buy
And yes; its a GPX

You can also maybe consider dirty injectors? Or blocked fuel filter?

There is some sensor also that can cause this to happen, I remember it happened to indyfto.

I don't get what the purpose of checking my error codes would be...

As Dr J mentions, it might be a sensor packing up. There are sensors all over the motor governing everything it does. If it is a sensor, then the ECU codes will tell you exactly which one is gone or going.

and how will earthing it tell me which sensors are gone?

Did you read the guide in the link?

come to think of it, it only really happens when i change gears. therefore, i am now convinced its the tiptronic that is acting up. out of sync maybe?
when i drive normally with tip, sometimes, i can see the light on the dashboard change gears but it takes another...second? for the engine to actually change. ie, the light changes gear for we actually see the engine do this.
any suggestions/

What you say in the last post is normal, the dash LED changes instantly normally and the gear change follows straight after...again I ask have you checked the error codes?

well, i've read the site many times, but i don't seem to see what would happen if the sensor is dodged. if its acting up, would it not light up on the dash when i earth the diagnostic control? or what would happen to let me know its dying?
or, is this to simply clear all the codes

read the link few more time,
The appropriate light will start blinking which will give you the error code.
No blink, then all good, find another way of diagnosing
yes blink, eg: abs light, slow, slow, slow, fast = error code 31, which means left rear spped sensor not working,
Check the code against the workshop manual

torue convertor or your auto is going.
Bascially what im thinking is there is a judder when shifting gears.
Eg, Shift to from first to second you can a judder in between.
Gearbox relation nothing else.
