I agree to that & i was watching it since day 1, usually "virgin" bidder like brackley don't bid like that.
I had someone did that to me once, I stop bidding after it reached the amount I was willing to pay, next thing you know the owner offer me a "2nd chance" as he claim that the winner backed out as soon as the bid was ended.

Yeah,
I was going to buy the engine, I had a chat with the owner too.
I watched the last minutes of the action very carefully,
There was only one bidder, trying to over bid the brackley2643, and he run out of the puff at $400
I will call the owner soon again to discuss what would he sell it to me for.
BTW, while we are here, can someone advise if it is very easy to put an GR engine into a GPX shell?
- Is the cabling same?
- CPU same?
- I think GR uses A/F meter, would this work with GPX cpu?
- Mounting points same?

Apart from the mounting point the rest are different. You can use the same block as a spare for your MIVEC though.

Damn!
Do we have any links to wreckers in Melb for a halfcut GPX?
Howmuch a GPX halfcut costs?

Dav (Poster) did a Melbourne wrecker's thread. Its in the Vic section.
The one at JSV had been there for more then a yr now, so maybe you can bargain him down for a good price instead of it getting rust, do keep in mind since its been sitting there for a while, you might have to rebuild the engine due to some parts might be seized.
The owner is Emmanuel.
