does any one know where i can get a cheap short shift??
is it worth putting one in?
i test drove my friends dc2 and the gear is soo much shorter and seem quick to shift..
or is there a modification we can do to make the shift shorter?

Whatever you do, dont cut the stick.
I've got a C's quickshifter & its brilliant. Available thru
www.perfectrun.com.au
Couple that with this little fix:

And you have the sharpest changes in town.
RPW also do a good quickshifter as well.

RPW had a special on theirs for feb/march . I ordered one about 2 months ago... still waiting on it....(apparently they need to get one in and modify it)

RPW can modify the shifter to our normal short unit or a rally spec mega short shifter.
But we had two exchange ones, and the customers never bothered to return them back so we now have no exchange ones left.
We only need the shifter for around 3 hours so if you want one and can do without the car for 3 days, send it to us air freight Australia post and we can modify it and send it back the same.
Garaunteed you won't be disapointed with the results.
