going on a long cruise from melbourne to wollongong (nsw).
what should i take along and what all do i need to add or change or check in my car before taking off?
got my coolant and engine oil changed only 2 weeks ago and have not driven much after that.
have to get a spare tyre i think.
what else do i need?

Just check your tyre's pressure, & make sure you have a one of those spare 5L-10L petrol container, incase u forgot to fill up.
Windscreen wiper would be another & all your water reservoir is full.

man i should have got a body kit like that on your pic made. had u posted this pic earlier i would not have bought the vielside one. Anyways now that my car looks respectable i can come to club cruises. just a few more stuff to do to it.
still after arc air intake chamber, a carbon fibre spoiler and some airbrushing and underbody neons.

I live in Chadstone and a couple of people live in Box Hill I think, so you can't use that as an excuse either

Spare tyre is a must. Try and get a rim the same as your standard typres if you can and not the crappy space savers.
We drove my girl from Sydney to Adelaide in 1 day and then the same back a week later - and no problems.

and a tip that may seem like I'm stating the obvious- (but I had a friend do this the other day)- if you get a flat tyre on the front of your car and you only have the space saver. Put one of your rear tyres on the front and put the space saver at the back.
Good luck and Safe Driving. Watch out for the Boys in Blue when crossing the border!!
