How FAST can you make your GR?

hey guys... just wondering who else has a GR and how many kw are you running at? and what cars you can outrun?

You certainly can make them go
As much as I dislike comparing dyno's (as the results vary so bady) the last run up I had was close to 120kw.
You do the same mods to a GR that you do to a GPX & you'll get some grunt out of it. My special ingrdient is cams. I dare say they worked on the cams as GR ones are a lot easier to work with than mivec cams. They are a more traditional style. Before you ask, the cams were done in HK by Ralliart
I have no contact there, nor do I know what was involved in the grind on them.
And being the head honcho of this fine establishment Im not about to disclose what cars I can 'outrun' (although many GPX owners ought beware
)
There are a couple of other 'freak GR's' around - ex vice pres kaveman is one, moderator G_A_V is the other.

GR's are still impressive, from stock they are only 20hp lower than the MIVEC, the two engine are pretty much the same,

A stupid question.. but how much KWs is a FTO GR, i have but i dunno abt the KWs =(
and @ the wheels too if somebody could tell me

From the factory 127kw @ 6600rpm, Torque 185nm @ 3800rpm
Thats measured at the flywheel, not the wheels

Btw, without doing anything extreme like supercharging or getting a turbo kit, what can u get to get better performance out of it?

Same things as the GPX kids do. Air filter & intake upgrade, extractors & exhaust upgrades, piggy back ECU etc. Its all very similar.

yeah.. wish i had mivec
but yeah.. i dragged a GPX before and it has the same mods as mine
also a member in this club ..
but im just thinking if they are worth investing in ... like $$->KW
