When you say exhaust..........what does that include?
Pipe? Cat? Muffler?
$750 is pretty good if you got all that! I might be interested!

cat back exhaust... so doesnt include new cat... everything back from there...
I got that price because it was last one in stock. They do not make them for the FTO anymore. RRP is about 1200.
however.... the place listed below... has one left. I emailed the guy 3 times before he replied, and when i had another question he didnt reply - so i chose not to use him and found one for the same price elsewhere.

yeah I know... Just need to decide which CAT to get?
anyone got any suggestions?
secondly, if the CAT was replaced during compliance - then would the compliancer just used a sh*tty one to replace the mistsubishi stock cat ? with?
I stayed with craig whilst he replaced the catback and it was a pretty easier job, providing i can get under the car I think ill change the cat myself. he didnt think the current cat was that bad but then again I dont think he really sees the point in doing many mods to a FTO.

This pic is from my other FTO, which I sold like 3yrs ago now. It had a HKS Superdragger too

yeah Craig doesn't see the point...I mean he is dealing with some serious machines in there everyday...I got all my gear from a place near my work...not a brandname...looks stock but has good performance..use typically on holdens etc...the cat will cost u like 300+.

so does your exhaust generally get quieter or louder?
i always thought the carbon build up quietened it down over time, but have since been told its the opposite - they get louder and louder...

the reason I say louder is cos the carbon gets intot th eholes used to silence the sound so i assume it may get louder...but doubt its gonna be huge.

anyone that wanted to answer lol.
well for anyone interested, after a few days driving the exhaust is now a little more noticeable. It has a really low burble at idle... just detectable, but gets a hella lot more excited when you give the car some grief...screeches at high revs....
im really liking it so far... I didnt want something that would make the car rattle or annoy me with a droning noise 24/7. Its subtle but sounds good. Performance wise, i might be imagining it, but seems quicker and smoother, more responsive.
its definately not the sexiest looking exhaust.. but find it much more livable then some of the others ive seen and heard.
