Fuses

Post by dstocks »

Are those items on the same fuse?. I know you have checked the fuses for breaks visually. Have you checked with a multimetre. Sometimes they can be stuffed but hard to see. The other thing you could try is removing the stereo, testing the plug and seeing if it is getting power from the back (one or more of the wires should be live (12v) when acc turned on). If youre not getting power, trace back to the fuse box and test the connectors for power - you should be getting 12V there too.

Hope this helps....

It sounds like a fuse issue to me. It's possible your fuse is still intact but has a very high resistance, it's unlikely but it can happen. Either way replace the fuse and see what happens.
