Hey everyone, last night i was cruzing then all of a sudden my revs just started staying at 2000rpm, then my speedo when to 0km.h. i turned my car off and started it again, the revs work alright but the speedo is no longer is working and the kilometres have stopped counting.

Can anyone help me as what to do, has a fuse just blone???

What can i do????

check your fuses but if it isn't one go straight to your mechanic. If you don't have one i recommend going to Unique Auto Sports in Castle hill they'll look after you. i haven't heard of this before so it sounds really strange.

have you had any electrical work done to your car recently?

Did you recently add aftermarket dials or something like that?

earlier that day i just put a tv in, and removed the previous cd player, then, the speedo stopped workin later that night??? is there somethin near the gearbox that could have been touched????

i took my car to north shore mitsubshi, they were lookin at it from 7:30 in the morni finally at 4, they reckon they found the problem, i need a new speed sensor, does anyone know where i can purchase one of these, as otherwise i have to wait 2 weeks to get the part from japan???

they will charge yuo way to much for it whats the part number i'll see if i can get you one. what did they quote you for price and installation?

Anybody have any ideas? I've taken out the dash pod,cleaned the connectors,checked for blown fuses, but no luck. Just had a immobiliser fitted a week ago,could that have anything to do with it?
