freight- suggestions

hi guys,
i know this is totally unrelated but tought i'll ask u guys. i need to send a couple of the guys b'kits from the group buy and cant find a freight company quoting a decent price. www.busfreight.com.au quoted me 200$ for one and 250$ for the other but i called them up to book it and they asked me 350$ for one and 400$ for the other. does anyone have any ideas who i could use to get an economical price for the guys. im kinda stuck and my customs agent is gettin annoyed the kits are lying at his warehouse for so long. ive tried aae and toll and got quoted pretty high too. any one whos used a good one lemme know. any help would be greated appreciated

we always use UPS @ work and we ship all over the country and the world.

Just a though but I think I can remember a friend that shipped some push bike wheels via Australia Post. cost him $15.00 from Sydney. he bought them on E Bay.

auspost wont accept them coz of the size.

Busfreight would be the cheapest unless you running a business, then u can apply for a business account from any interstate delivery courier.

And it should cost your $70-90 anywhere in Aus.

BTW 300-400 is still cheaper then some Air frieght company, they charge around $2000 for next day delivery on motor body parts. 8O

yea so far there quote seems by far the cheapest though it is more than what the guys whouldha expected. i feel bad making them pay so much for cartage from melb to them. btw kev do u have a business ac with anyone? :D

Well find out the dimension & weight of each kit & i see what i can do for you. I assume they are all well packed.

I had my bodykit shipped from perth to ACT for $270

Contact Interstate Freight, quite good

problem solved. got them sent thru bus freight , most freight companies refused them coz of the size of the parcels.
