Group buy CF Surround

Post by TimmyD »

Hey,
Starting the thread so ya'll can post up pics and how you guys went about installing these suckers!

Just something so you can help out others like myself who have no idea how to make it stay down and how you got the gear boot in (with manuals).

Hi All,

I have a manual and have taken delivery of my surround.

Have a few ideas regarding the addition of fixture points of the underside surround using fibreglass or a strong adhesvie so it can be screwed on and off.

Alternatively I PM'd umm to see if he can do an aluminium gear ring that would possibly allow the screwing down of the whole part and the fixture of a gear boot.

But due to circumstances outside my control I won't be fitting the surround just yet..........(will keep you posted on this one)

Cheers

Chris
