Is there any different between a GPX manual gear box?

Is there any different between a GPX manual gear box and a non-mivec version manual gear box?

Apparently the ratios on some of the boxes were a little different. Richard Batty had an extensive post on it somewhere either here or on the UK forum. Apart from that as far as i know they are all identical.

was told the mivec box is stronger than the non mivec box. and the drive shaft is slightly different
is it ture?

the GPX and GPvR have the same gearbox, then you just have the GR gear box and GS gearbox.
The GS I think has the same gearbox as a 1.8 L lancer (Not sure), then you have the GPX and GPvR the only difference is that the GPvR has an LSD, and the GR gearbox is pretty much exactly the same as the GPX but has a different final gear ratio, the gears have the same ratio, but basically the GPX gearbox was designed a bit better for acceleration.
