But surely then your normal headlights will not appear dipped and they will be angled upwards as if you had high beam on all the time? Still you could try it I guess and see how many oncoming drivers flash you...

Hi guys,
I am interested in finding how you guys went with this.
Has any one done this yet?
I might try it if it proves to be ok.
Can some one let us know if it was a good result with this simple task?
Thanks,

I think it also depends if you have discharge headlights as well.
If you were to swap the discharge highlights to the inner headlight housing, you would be compromising your peripheral vision surely.

high an low beam have different focal lengths, so at the bare minimum you would have to readjust them.
I think the cone shaped diffuser thing does cut down the light, that is what it is supposed to do, spread the light around the front of the car, so it doesn't shine into the eyes of other drivers. If you changed this then your high beams would be no good???
Is this purely a cosmetic thing or is it supposed to serve a purpose?

have you tried adjusting them? Youd be surprised how bright a correctly adjusted light can be.
BTW why is you light green, is it tinted, green globe or is that just the pic?
Mine dont come out green like that, so maybe thats got something to do with it???

Hi guys,
I don't know if any one has tried this but I have a spare head light unit at home and have just tried to plug in the high beam one into the low beam one and it doesn't fit!!
I haven't tried with the low beam one into high beam one, but assuming it'll be the same.
The shape of the three bulges that comes out of the socket to fit into place is different.
So scrap that idea guys!
Unless you want to leave the bulb as where they are and just swap the wires over. I don't know if this will work.
Thanks,

you have to dremel the high beam connectors to look like the low beam buld to fit it should fit once you have done that
