Under engine Shields

Hello

following on from my post in help yesterday i have done some reading of earlier threads about under engine shields

It would appear quite a lot of us are running without them or have one that are fractured

Also lowering an FTO means that sometimes the gaurds have to be removed

My question is just how many of us still have the gaurds and how many don't have them and what are the benefits

I have done some ringing round and can get a set of 4 sourced from Japan for just over AUD200

Thanks

Artful

If you talking about the inner guard for the wheelbase, they are less then $200 in Aus.

When travelling at speed in wet weather, I assume it does stop water from splashing to the the alternator and pulleys in particular.

I got a feeling though that a lot of the members on this forum have got custom front bars and I have seen a lot of FTO's without the plastic wheel guards....particularly on the Veilside front bar.
