Just had my car serviced

Thought I'd pass on my experience with getting my car serviced at Driftking Performance Fabrications here in Brisbane.
Up until now I've been taking my car down the Gold Coast but I was looking for somewhere closer. I rang up Driftking and had a chat about what I thought needed doing and was happy with the responses I got. Michael recommended a full tune-up and injector clean being that it's impossible to know if the car has ever had one and when I told him the k's, he said they're probably not genuine which I already knew and suspected. So I was possibly up for an early timing belt change but aside from that, the rest of the work was quoted at around the $1000 mark. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but I was looking for someone to totally pull her apart and make sure that everything was working as good as it possibly could.
Now bear in mind I've had this car serviced down the Gold Coast 2 or 3 times since I've owned the car and each time I've been told it needed nothing more than an oil change.
First, the good news. They feel the k's are genuine giving the overall health of the car (yay!), thus I don't need to worry about the timing belt for at least another 20,000k's.
The "other" news. The rear three spark plugs were the wrong type! So I wasn't getting the best ignition in the rear three cyclinders. The injectors were so dirty that one of them stuck open when they pulled them out. All up, the result was a pretty unresponsive car, especially in the low gears. Even my last tiptronic had noticably more get up and go than this manual.
So after pretty much an engine rebuild, my car is now purring ever so sweetly and has significantly more power. First gear now feels like first gear rather than feeling like I'm launching from second gear. I haven't run a full tank through yet but I'm suspecting my fuel economy is going to improve as well.
I've got a few other things wrong with the car like a squeaky clutch, etc. which they are now going to look at and fix, gratis, because I'm willing to fit in with their schedule. So whilst it's not a cheap excercise, I'm very happy with the end result and so far am only to happy to recommend the work they do there.
