my intake- finally here

Post by shue »

finally got my airbox and air intake completed this weekend. what do u think.?? its got an apexi filter inside the airbox and the piping is 3 inch reduced to 2.75 inch to go to the tb. still need to paint up the piping to cover up all the welding spots.
sorry pics taken in a dark carpark, will take more in the sun soon.

Dull black will absorb more heat......you'd be better off leaving it shiney or painting it silver :)

It does look good though 8)

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

I've hacked up a new box design for my setup using some windscreen heat reflective material and a stapler...lol funny enough apart from being all this reflective yellow/orange color it worked out pretty good cos it sits on myexisting cover but covers up some of the gaps...Kev reckons the windscreen stuffd works well to reflect heat...which makes sense cos thats what its used for...maybe I'II just leave mine as it is..but its kinda *~dreamy~* - but propably works fine..

anyway my point was I was gonna get a new cover made up..I might make it is plastic first and then take it to your guy to make it something more exciting...like CF or even AL cos that would be cool also.
