Uh that's a negative max.
GPvR = Race Spec GPX (has strut braces, no climate control, less weight and a few other things)
GPX = top of the line FTO
BOTH have MIVEC.

GPX: Luxury model
Climate control, electric folding mirrors, etc.
GPvR: Race bred model
No climate control, just simple aircon, no electric mirrors, less sound deadening stuff, basically all the luxury stuff stripped out to make it lighter and faster. Front and rear strut braces, coloured front seats, High Intensity Discharge headlamps, LSD (I think).
There's more but I forget
The GPvR came out late 96 early 97 so it will be newer than most FTOs in Oz.

LOL max
Well, a few cosmetic differences like the rear spolier, a few suspension differences (especially up front) and a bit of weight taken out of it. Motor is essentially the same.

Is that the same case for the FTO GPvR limited edition that came out in yellow? What specs did that have?

I was under the impression that the car of the year ones had a VS wing and side skirts.

As far as i know all factory yellow FTO were release to celebrate FTO won back to back Japan car of the yr during 94-95. And they are just GPX with yellow paint & badge.
There is another very rare FTO model, it is the Nakaya Tune, Jame's (aka Dannyboyau) FTO was originally Nakaya Tune, until he tune it into a 6A13 moster.

Not very much - it's only like 20-30kg.
Performance wise, the biggest difference is the LSD...
And the GPvR is only available in the facelift model. There was a pre-facelift model called the GP which was halfway between a GPX and a GPvR, but they are very rare...
Other differences are HID headlights standard on the GPvR, and (if the car is white or black) very bright front seat colours

not likely, there is a reason why Ralliart is called the SEDAN king, they dont generally touch coupes unless its all aftermarket

Hehehe, Bennoz will tell you otherwise......his has been played with by RalliArt.
RalliArt UK also played with a few over there.

They do good things Ralliart
All my gear was done after production thou - was a 'demostration' kit.
Predominantly engine mods too... which is good but also bugger cause I would really have liked the Ralliart suspension kit.

Joel's FTO got Ralliart suspension & exhaust
And GPvR don't comes with anything Ralliart.
