The parts aren't too hard to come by. The hardest is finding a workshop to do the bloody work!

The panel beater I found to do the chassis strengthening has promised to come over twice and TWICE he's done a no show.

Looks like Targa Tassie might have to wait a little bit longer......

You will be waiting a while even after completing a AWD FTO project.

It would never be eligible to enter........... :-)

If that's your goal, just buy the latest model STi, fit the required safety gear and the allowable mods, then go racing.

I know a bloke that has a 650hp WRX that has the same problem.........so he bought a GT40 replica with all the bells and whistles.

Cheers

From the pics, it looks like they completely rip out the floor plan. Big bucks as I mention before..... :?

And i wonder how offen he have to fill up, as the fill tank is much smaller then stock, & the fact the AWD system chew more petrol too.

Kev, it wouldn't be too bad in terms of refill frequency of the tank coz isn't the EVO tank smaller than the FTO tank?

Hey is anybody able to translate that article at all? hehehe... the pictures are nice and all, but it would be nice to understand what it's saying too.

the evo and fto share the same chassis so its pure fabrication required...

all you need is an wrecked evo and a bit of cash it wouldn't be to scary a job just take a hell of a lot of time

Which chassis does a Galant/Legnum mate with? I know they're just a fraction longer than the FTO.

And Kev I will be stripping the FTO down to the floor plan. Maybe you can help me do it.......hehehe

What FTO bills? I'm kinda lost mate? I haven't spent much on it actually. Nothing out of ordinary at least.
