Aluminium Radiator

I have just been talking to PWR about getting a aluminium radiator made for the FTO this would increase the cooling efficency above the standard radiaitor of around 35 %

Would anyone have a slightly damaged radiator that they would be willing to donate. Or is there any one in QLD who could help.

We need to get a radiator to currumbin in QLD for a week for them to copy it then they would have all the measurements on record and would be listed in there catolouge

This is an upgrade that will be required on turbo FTOs chasing big power

Any help would be appreciated.

i'm in QLD an i want an aluminium radiator just for the look of it, because of the size of the gap in my front bar, but i don't have a spare and i can't do without my car for more than a day.

The price should be around 800 AUD. So anyone who is looking to get one will be able too soon.

yeah man keep us informed because i agree with UMM i dont want to turbo the car until im 21 or older but just the look of it will look crazy because it will be all silver and shinny:)

and with a tunnel intake and a wicked new radiator my car should never get hot:)

would they be able to send them anywhere???

Hey dannyboy is the radiator going to be the same dimensions as the standard FTO radiator? You should ask them if they can make a thinner radiator with the same properties and have a bit more room to play with. Extra room for your transmission and engine oil coolers.........hehehe

radiator tanks will be the same size but the core will be thicker, once they have the measurements you could ring them and get them to make one with a thinner core.

The 1st PWR alumininium radiator for the FTO has been made and is on its way to Perth. I will post some pics of it when it arrives.

Many thanks to Jeff who organised the radiator to get supplied for copying. Cheers mate.

Hi guys a big hello from the wet and cold UK. I've been looking into getting an Aluminium radiator done. Could someone give me some details on the weight of it compared to the new one. Hopefully in the New Year I'll be able to get some for us lot up here as well.

Dannyboy do these aluminium radiators mate with a 6A13TT? Or have they made a custom one for yourself?
