Not sure when the UK site will be back.
Pom's Are Back!
The DB has been successfully moved to the new host, Ben is uploading addtional files, and waiting for the DNS to be switched (which can take up to 24 hours)
This was on Tuesday this week so I guess there has been some technicalities which are holding things up.
Ben... if you read this keep at it dude! I hope the FTOOC is going to be better than ever with the new hosts!
Thanks to all you guys n girls down under for putting up with us all!

Considering I not only run my own website and forum I do know something about them and how then run. Either they are having problems with their ISP or the forum is corrupt. They have a page here:
http://www.ftooc.org/
so why has it not been updated with some information? Like I said, 30 seconds with Dreamweaver would solve the problem and at least let people know they were experiencing problems - a little information goes a long way.
Simple really.

Seeing as the UK forum is down I need to ask a question:-
Is it only Camskill that sell the Window Guides (cant find them anywhere else) as £8 P&P seems a bit excessive for such a small item?

That price sounds about right for a geniune part. You do not need to replace them though, remove the guides and tap them lightly with a hammer to close the gap and stop the rattle. Be gentle.

They're actually £17 for a pair and £8 post and packing - and I need to replace one as it fell off yesterday because the plactic had split!!

again you have missed the point. You dont know the details of the situation with the ftooc so all you can do is make assumptions. I think you need to settle down. You know the problems we've been having with current host. and it has made it extremely difficult to backup/transfer the database and files and then make fixes to the database for the new site.

its hardly plonk and drop is it
Yes i agree the front page should have been updated but its should be online in a couple of days once dns has replicated...

If Camskill haven't got any get them from your local mitsy dealer. Camskill only make £0.70p on these and they buy them from mitsy!
So for a change its cheaper to get them from mitsy directly! My mitsy garage got them for me in 24hrs.

Site should be up and running soon - hopefully over the weekend. We've been testing it out over the last couple of days and it is much faster (well it was with just a few of us on

) so hope you like it when it's back!
Script Daddy has run into all sorts of problems which he has feverishly been trying to fix - so hats off to him for all the time he's put in over the last 5 days.
