FTO Front Seats

Post by NorthQLDFTO »

I'm after a pair of FTO front seats...
I was originally buying these through another source but unfortunately that has fallen through...
I don't require the base brackets or height/back adjusters & the seat covers don't have to be in good condition as I have new ones coming from the Group Buy...
If anyone has any they are willing to part with or know of somewhere I can get these please let me know...

You can usually pick up some fto front seats from the trading post for $50 for a pair.

That would require incredible amounts of work to actually pass an engineering test. Something that should be done if you're going ahead with an idea like that.

Last thing you want in an accident is your back seats coming off their rails.

I'm actually having the bucket seats moulded into the original back bench base... Been assured by the guy doing the work that it's all legal... He has done the same thing with several other cars such as Supra, 200SX & RX7...

 I would like to thank everyone for their input here but I am no longer looking for front seats

Let this be a lesson - ALWAYS drill the guy who says he can do whatever it is you're after THOROUGHLY!

After hearing of a few doubts from fellow FTO Australia members I had a few of my own so I went back & decided to grill this guy a little harder... He caved! Bastard admitted never having done it before but 'assures' me he could 'work it out'!!!

 @#$%&*@#%@%@

So... Needless to say... Harsh words were exchanged & I am NOT having the work done through that business...
