when u sign into(or go into) this website u end up on the "online now:" list on the bottom left... how is this ranked cause everytime im here its different...

Why is the 'People Online' list on the left hand side different to the 'Registered Users' list at the bottom of the main forum page?

I actually have fun with this.... I log on and see how close I am to being No 1, and count how many times I've made it to the top spot. Its a bit like forum lotto. What? I'm the only one who does this, oh maybe I should go get a life then..

From memory Steve said the one on the right is how many people are actually online using the forum as a whole, so they can be in anywhere from General section to parts for sales.....etc.

And the one down the bottom is how many people on the forum front page at a time.

I could be wrong, but thats how i remember it.

I think ya find that the one at the bottom of the page is people active in the last 5 minutes, as in it gets updated every 5 minutes where as the one on the right is more of a who's been on in the last hour or so
