manifold polishing

seening the poms polishing theirs, has anyone done it themselves, what would i need to polish my mani . im guessing its gonna be a tough job but could i do it without having to take it apart .

Some good metal polish & I'd recommend getting a selection of polishing attachments for your drill.
Otherwise you'll be doing by hand forever

And get some goggles too.
I actually thought about doing this a year ago, and researched big time. There was a DIY on how to polish a manifold in MX5 forum.
You can get polishing kit from Bunnings, which will save heaps of time. You definitely need to take the manifold off to do this work on it.
The thing put me off was all the writing on the manifold and all that corners. Will extend the project time big time.

shhsss they dont need to know that. man drills (shudders) i'll end up chopping my hands up this time. who wants to get together and do it maybe some weekend?

ok change of heart. im not willing to become handicapped f#$%ing around with drills n stuff, considering i cut myself all over with a wire cutter, how much do u reakon i'll get charged for like a powder coating done on the mani
