I have 215/45/r17 on mine looks alright, wanted to have 235/45/r17 but they were rubbing badly on the drivers side :(. was planning on getting 18s but i since i got chromies i thought it was a bit over the top having 18" chromies on a FTO

All those with 18s you ever get any rubbing, scrubbing, obviously the ride is much harsher with a lower profile, ive read many threads, also on FTOOC, where a lot people reakon that 225/ anything over 35 will rub on the guard, this is more dircted toward pheaver and barfy, your thougths please, also are your cars lowered by much.

cheers

Mine rubs slightly on the front left only becuase my underguard bits a chopped up. But apart from that no problem of rubbing.

Lowered with king spring super lows. Think about 2-3 inches all round.

I sort of realised that, more wondering if that extra half inch is the difference between to rub or not to rub. :)
