Coming down to my parking spot at work, I have to go down 2 levels braking at the same time, and sharply turn to the right.
Fully turning to right, going down hill, I get this single loud knock.
It seems to me coming from right side suspension.
While knock is single and loud, also I feel release from brake paddle.
And straight after the knock, I heard a kinda compressor noise.

What’s the problem guys?

Worn rubber strut top would be my guess.



Compressor noise could be the shock absorber that mounts in there.
I've got the same knock & thats what mine is... until I get down to the shop & put my pillow mounts in...

I have booked the car in for Pedders 28 point suspension check on Saturday morning.
Lets see what will come out of it.

I get the same thing all the time.
Was going to book mine in with Wilki Suspension over here for a look see.

Pedders should charge you between $60 and $70 a side for the standard strut tops (not fitted) if that is what it is. A got my strut tops from Pedders down here in Canberra and that is what they charged me.
