Anyone able to identify what this plug might be used for??

I was attempting to stop my door from squeaking (which can't be done because of a broken clip holder  ) when I noticed this plug just hanging there (t'was the source of another rattle) just below the motor for the door lock.

It looks like several of the wires have been cut and most of the wires are wrapped in electrical tape.

Any idea's people??

Have you had the original central locking actuator replaced by an aftermarket one????. This looks suspiciously like the original actator plug

Could be wrong though

It is most definatly after market central locking because the factory motor is part of the lock.
The plug used to go to the original motor but has ben removed for the after market central locking kit.

Yep, you win the major prize of an FTO that can actually lock its doors! :)

Both sides of mine have now been replaced. Those original factory locks really did put the "s" in "quality".
