Window Guides ...

Guys I was wondering where I could get the parts for the window guides from?
Am I right to just ring a genuine mitsu place and order them from there?
Are these the correct part numbers MB321765 & MB321766?
I got the DIY guide from the link below. Is there any DIY's better than this one?

Thats probably one of the better guides, but dont bother going & buying gen plastic replacement guides... When you pull the guides out - they sit in a metal bracket - just tap the bracket a couple of time with a hammer to squeeze them up a little. Use a little graphite powder for lube & re-assemble! Bobs you uncle, no more ratttles

I got mine from mitsubishi dealership cost about $25 each side. Took about 20 minutes to fit both (I have had the door linings off a few times now). Door Rattles now gone.
I didnt follow the guide listed, but the process I used was the same - works well.

Bennoz whats graphite powder? Where do I lube? ... Sorry Im kinda a n00b ...
Anyone help with this question.

Graphite powder is a dry lubricant - can be purchased from any hardware. Kinda looks like printer toner... black powdery stuff. Put it between the guides & the slide rail that the window follows - allows it to slide up & down easier. Like oiling a chain

a bit off topic but if anyone has a lock on a door at home which is really hard to unlock with a key, graphite powder works wonders!!!! my 2 cents anyway!!!!

BTW for future reference for anyone the part numbers for each window rail for both left and right doors are MB321765 & MB321766 ... The RRP on these are $22.00 each

Just to stop confusion, the part numbers are for the window guides, not the window rails (although this was probably obvious from the above posts).
BTW Anubis, how did you go with the installation and did it make a difference???

I replaced mine. One of the most frustrating jobs i've ever done. All good untill my drivers side window started rattling again. Now i'm not sure if it's the guide but whatever it is it's really pissing me off.

Have you checked to make sure the bits of foam are properly behind the rods that go from the inside door handle to the lock???. These rods will rattle if they do not have some sort of pressure behind them. Another thing to check for is that the electrical connector inside the door cavity itself (for central lock) has not come free and is rattling against the door frame. Check connector for speaker as well

Havent tried yet as Mitsu near me didn't have the stock... I'm ordering them in so I'll update you how I go ... Any tips?

Yep,
Dont overtighten any of the screws. They are seated in plastic fittings and if you overtighten, it will cross-thread and will not hold the door on as well.
be careful when you release the clips that hold the door on. These can break!!!.

Mmmm....car manufacturers love using these clips.
Unfortunate, 'cos as Dwayne mentioned, they are very easy to break.

Thanks dstocks will have a look at the rods. Now that i think about it it does kinda sound like that might be it... I hope.
