Oil additive for seals

anyone tried this and know if it actually does anything, its a additive u can add to your engine oil which apparently softens the cam seals and stops oil leaks, might be cheap option compared to getting the cam seals replaced which i must go thru atm

Mate,
Sounds good in the short term if you can't afford the time or the expense of getting them replaced, but it's just delaying the inevitable?
It's really not much more expensive to get them fixed at the same time as a major service (the seals themselves are only about $20 each from memory). As long as you take it to a good workshop.
