Why do you lie to your partner/bf/gf?

Whats the main reason that causes u to lie??? help me out here.. i want to noe why ppl lie~

u have to be abit more specific dear, what situation are we talking about,
because i can click abt 3 or 4 of the above
depending on the circumstance. does that make me a complusive liar then?

i can think of proper reasons for it!
heheheh
1) to cover your ass.
i do it to my bf all the time! hahahha opps.
2) for fun.
ppl will have to agree with me that lost ppl are VERY entertaining!
3) its a habit.
" REALLY mum, i'm telling u the shoe store had a buy 1 get 4 free deal!"
4) stop ppl getting hurt.
hey if it'll avoid me getting my ass wooped its definately worth thinking about!
