Only because that car is so cheap
You have to own a car in another country for at least a year before you can bring it over to Oz as a personal import.
The only FTOs you can import to Oz normally are stock ones

If you put some time and effort into the import thing it could work. Pay off someones friend or family member over there and get them to import it. My mate lives over there, paid 12k for his 12sec rex.
