Hi All.
I have a squeek in the front (I think) left side of the car when going over speed humps, stopping cornering etc. I have talked to suspensoin people and they it's not that although could be the springs... They and I suspect the bushes...
Does anyone have any ideas or assistance with this?
prices, part numbers susgestions etc?
thanks in advance for your help

hey wraith
firstly, have you changed anything in your front suspension? or is it totally stock?

Hi Guys...
thanks Chiangstar for the comment... have bitten the bullet and taken the car to "centerline" here in Melb... They are AWSOME by the way... getting it looked at as we speak... might upgrade a few suspension bit while I'm there I think to kill some of that understeer.
will let you know what the end result is .
Cheers

Hi All.
Just heard back from them..
Front ARB bushes are gone.. will have to source some from Super Pro. just need to know the size of the standard ARB so I can get them.. any ideas?
While they were under there they say the rear trailing arm front bushes are gone as well. Anyone know where I can get some from?
Thanks for you help so far

i have the similar problem, and it seems to be louder during cold...?
same problem..? it is starting to become louder and more evident throught the last few weeks...
can u please specify which parts is actually at fault? as well as how much it cost u to fix it...?
thanks..i always thought it was the wheel bearing...but bushes could be a potential problem too i guess...

Hi guys and gals.
took the car to "centerline" in melb and within mins they had it up on the hoist and told me the issues.....
they want to replace the front (trying to think of the right word but star wars in head) connects the suspension arm... (will come back with the name tomorrow) they also found the rear trailing arms bushes slowly on their way out and I want to replace the sway bar bushes while the car's apart.
all bushes will be the poly ones from Super Pro (fulcrum) who have been incredably helpful once you talk to them on the phone.
will do the drop links later when I've saved up a bit. sway arms are about $20 each.. rear trailing arms $120 for the set and the other ones I'm not sure yet.. then add labour.. I'll post update when they give me a quote... Also getting 4 new tyres while they're off...
better to do it all at once I think.
Drop links... well love to but will have to come later... any idea where to get them from?
so does anyone know the measurment of the front sway arm on the 95 GPX Fto stock? or shall I crawl undernearth and measure the damn things? heheheh
cheers

Have got a couple of part numbers for front end for anyone interested
Anti roll bar bushes (MR197005) about $7 each genuine
Strutt Tops (MR131420) about $65 each from pedders (same as CE lancer)
