Same.
The hardest bit I found was getting the little black stickers which came with mine to block out the light from the centres in the right places - very fiddly. Other than that it was pretty simple...

That was by far the shitist job!!! I think I took longer over them than over the whole install, including taking the dash apart and putting it back together.....

yeah Dave i got the instructions, but pics would help heaps.
especially with the little black sticker things...
and also the idea of cutting my existing dials (making them unusuable somewhat scares me!)

well u can get standard replacements for about 3-5 pound from Uk i think?
But u can try putting them over the old ones, but i odnt think they will light up well..
the black stickers arent drastically important.. they just wrap around the base with the black end facing the way the needle is...
just to stop too much light from getting through. just make sure the needle has free range otherwise they wont work properly.

That should really match the outside paint scheme of the car.
At least you didn't break 'em

Your car and my car are now looking very similar! Or they would do if I still had the stock bodykit. Sometimes I wish I still did....
Here's my gauges - they both look good eh?
I alaso have a small problem with light getting around the needle cups, but I'm too lazy to dismantle the dash again to fix it. The only other problem I find with the gauges is that they can be hard to read when it's not quite dark but you have the headlights on. In full dark or light they're all good...

yeah i find that as well.
i turn down the lights, to make the numbers darker at those times.

None of the FTO actually came with it from factory, but in Oz you have to install a dimmer as part of compliance.
Rice is good, it give you Carbo ehehehehee especially the one that cooked with NOS

Oh ok, I thought that none of them have it, but since I've never been in a GPX I wasn't sure. I was actually looking at the above pics trying to find it...
Compliance over here is so much easier...
