Aftermarket steering wheel and horn

Well, not pointing any fingers, but when adriano installed his momo wheel he didn't hook up the horn, grrrr, and i can't get a pink slip without it. Now to make matters worse three of the steering wheel hex nuts are striped! I can only get three off. Instead i just pryed out the horn button and attempted to take the wheel off from there but no dice, i took the nut that holds the boss kit down out but the wheel still wouldn't come off.

So i took off all the crap around the steering column and found the metal ring part behind the boss kit, and the brass finger thing to which the 12v horn thing is connected too. Now if i ground the brass finger the horn goes off, so the horns fine, but it isn't hooked up.

So on to the problem. The metal finger is supposed to be in constant contact with the metal ring (which has to be isolated from any grounds) and then the metal ring has to be connected to the steering wheel hron contact and then the other horn contact goes ot the ground tab in the boss kit.

Problem is the metal ring sits loose around the back of the boss kit and is always grounded to the metal, so if i push the ring forward to touch the finger off goes the horn, but even if i isolated the metal ring unless i physically hold it forward it won't touch the finger. So yeah. I have no idea what to do to get the damn horn working.

Its a momo wheel and boss kit. I found the hole where the live should come through the boss and attach to the horn but the wire needs to be able to spin with the steering wheel and i have no idea how to hook it up.

If that makes no sense then ignore it and just link me to some info on installing an aftermarket wheel and boss kit on an fto.
