Hi guys, someone you who come on the FTOOC forum might know me as I am one of the comittee members for FTOOC and produce FTO News our quartly magazine.
I am visiting Australia on business between 11th April and 22nd April I will be in Sydney for the first week and Canberra for the 2nd.
What I could do with is info on anywhere that sells tuning parts in these locations, I have an MR2 turbo as well as an FTO and hope to get a bargin on some bits
Cheers

Don't expect to find anything in canberra mate, it's a bit of a hole full of politicians. Your best bet for parts would be sydney...

Would love to, I could do a feature for the magazine. I will be in Canberra between the 17th and 21st but will be at the Linux conference at Canberra uni in the day.
I am stying in Sydney for a bit of a holiday so will have more time there. BTW how long does it take to drive from Sydney to Canberra??

Well, let us know when it gets closer to the date.

I heard about that, it's at ANU btw. And we can't go cos it's full, no more registrations being taken.... and it would of cost $100 for us...
Chris, are you giving a talk? or are you just going to watch and listen?
The conference sounds really interesting, but most things will be beyond me skills and knowledge of linux
Anyway....

If you want a decent supply of cheap (ish) parts, you should make a trip over here

I am not giving a talk I am going to meet some of our customers and give some training.
My company is
www.theingots.org (website is new so there maybe some bugs) we do international certfication in office skills, we promote open office but you can use MS office as well.
I am training people to be assessors. We have 15 countries doing this now and it growing. A large chunk of the money made is going back into Open Source software development.
My Dad went and trianed people in NZ earlier this year, I asked him to bring me some bits back but he does not know the difference between and exhaust and a turbocharger
