FTO badge

Post by rxboy »

As far as I understand, all FTOs have a silver badge of the "FTO" logo on the back. Mine never had one - all you can see is an indent of the logo. Does anyone know where I can get one and how I would fit it on?

I don't think a silver badge was standard (maybe an option?). My GR only has the indented FTO logo on the rear. I have seen stickers that fit, I haven't seen metal badges.

oh ok. For some reason I thought it was standard. I've had people come up to me and ask me the name of the car, because the indented logo is not really visible. Does anyone know the part number of the silver badge? I know a Mitsubishi dealer in South Melbourne which stocks lots of parts for the FTO so I might give them a ring.

I don't know if you can get them straigt from mitsubishi but i got mine from KMC products in england. I think it cost me about $20 AUD including delivery here. They had gold, blue, silver and red. Silver looks best though. Don't quote me on the price though I bought heaps of sh*t from them all at once so i can't really remember.

Yeah I'm referring to Collins Mitsubishi. They're the only ones in Melbourne who had a driver's side window when mine was smashed. Even main Mitsubishi parts department (in Moonee Ponds I think) didn't have it.
