I still can't understand the point of this mod.....it's not really that hard to press the button, plus it looks daft with the mirrors in

I've linked the mirrors to my central locking.
Advantages:
- People think it is so cool, I get so many comments.
I know by ear as I'm walking away if my car is locked.
I know just by looking at my car whether it's locked or not.
With my old car, even just being an Excel, some clowns would hit the mirrors in. With the mirrors already in on the FTO, people actually think it's already been hit and don't touch them.
Those stupid birds that go nuts in car mirrors and poop down the side of the car can't do it to my car.

Glad it helps
I suggest implementing all three relays in all cases, so that you can lock/unlock your doors while the car is running without it affecting the mirrors. It could be a bit of a pain otherwise when you lock the door when you have kids etc (or your mate in the passenger sear just wants to be a smartass).

This won't help you if one of your lock motors is cactus and I would suggest to anyone a steady regime of random lock checks. I say this after leaving my car unlocked for two days and nights in Toowoomba.

That third relay is a saviour!
I'm going to put in the 3rd relay in on the weekend, I hate it when I lock the doors and the mirrors fold whilst im driving!
