Isn't that what we been saying in the other post, it doesn't what car people drive, is the inexperience & attitude that causes accidents.

I've held a gun before. Apparently if you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, it can kill people. Odd...when I was holding a gun, I never pointed it at anyone and pulled the trigger and it never killed anyone.

I've sat in an <insert powerful car here> before. Apparently <insert powerful car here>'s can go really frickin' fast just by pushing that pedal on the floor really hard. Odd...when I was in the <insert powerful car here>, I didn't push the pedal all that hard and I didn't lose control once.

Where am I going with this gibberish? All this crap about it being the cars fault for being too powerful is rubbish. It's up to the driver how fast they make the car go whether it's a Datsun Sunnie or a Porche 911.

classic case of "TUFF BIATCH" im so fully sick im gonna paint my ride pink an be a grrrrrl raceR XXX.... stack all my mates in a car THAT BARELY FITS 4 LET ALONE 5! and show em how full sick i am... be thankful the other two got out and no one is dead.

i completely understand the rush you get when you first buy a car like the fto... as im sure everyone here does... and we are all guilty of touching that nasty little peddle to impress someone, but jeeze have some control for F*UCK SAKE.
ive taken some young'uns for a spin too, they are impressed to just sit in the car and hear the exhaust, if you must, then accelerate hard to 50-60-70kms what ever the speed limit, belive me thats all you need to do with a 13 year old. there is no need to break the sound barrier...

if you ask me it may aswell have been a bubble car and the same would have happened.

Come to think of it, with 5 people on board, the power to weight ration would be mega sh*t, don't even see the point why the dumb bit*h try to proof herself at the first place, she would easily get done by a gramma in a 120B.

you should see the area where the car got stacked... it was less than 100m away from a roundabout coming from a blind downhill corner! 8O

Ok, I agree with a lot of what everyone has said here but please loose the "Dumb Bitch" attitude. I've yet to see any of the males who stacked the cars referred to in these terms - see the other thread!!

Lucky no-one was killed, but from another point of view, it just shows that the FTO is at least somewhat safe in an accident!

Not the point they were hoping to make I am sure, but we can all take that positive away from it!

I shall now place that image in my mind so that whenever I feel the urge to do something stupid in my car......that picture pops into my mind.

Still, a needless waste.

These comments might be a few days late *shrugs*

I believe some people are missing the point with the high powered thing.

Power to weight ratio for an unladen FTO is just within legal P2W for P platers in victoria.

Quote was: "This is a case of an inexperienced driver behind the wheel of a car that was far too powerful for her,"

And in this case, I'd tend to agree.

Hell, any thing is too powerful if you have no modium of control.
Everyone is different. Some people just don't know their limits until they make a mistake (Actually I think no one knows their limits until they make a mistake, just how big a mistake is the thing in question)

But in this case, I think it was just a matter of being young and reckless, we've all been there before. Just sad that they pushed it way past beyond their means.

in this case, it's not testosterone - it's oestrogen overload lol

i think its more of a case that every CAR has its limits. No matter how good a driver u are, theres a certain limit yr car can be taken up to.

A couple of months ago, i did a complete 180 in semi wet conditions going on a long U shape turn onto the freeway. Luckily for me there were no cars behind and my car just went onto the grass. Not one scratch on me or my car but a good idea of the limit of speed my car can take on a turn.
